Transitions are challenging but full of opportunities….SAGE has changed its look and its website to better promote the needs of the people we serve and the mission that reflects our roots and our future.
We are a part of a movement that values the lives of all people and believes that no one deserves to be violated, abused or treated as a commodity. We are a people of strength, resilience and worth.
Our new look embodies this belief.
How it came to be: In the fall of 2012, we held a contest for SAGE program participants and asked for artwork that described the SAGE Project. We had four fantastic pieces of art emerge that everyone loved! (See under Survivor Resources.) From those pieces of art, we asked for feedback from all involved with SAGE about what they believed were common threads and themes that were present in all of the artwork. Two of the most common themes were strong people and the world.
Next we sent the artwork to a graphic designer and she took the common themes and put them in a design that reflects those themes. We are grateful for the donated work of Carol Davis and the embodiment of a renewed vision.
